What is an affordable overhead lighting solution?
The 7500 Lumen Overhead Shop Light is all you need to brighten the dullest areas. Just one of these will fold the area with bright white natural light, but for large areas like a basement, garage, or workshop, you can link up to 4 of these together through the included daisy chain setup. Each light can plug right into the next light.
These are perfect for a workshop, basement, garage, studio, and anywhere else you need bright and natural light. Best of all, these lights come with mounting hardware to attach them either flush with the ceiling or hanging down about 9.5 inches.
Lighting With Useful Features.
Each light features a Motion Sensor Switch. This looks like an On/Off switch but will turn the motion sensor on and off. When the switch is in the "I" position, the sensor is off and the light will stay on. In the "O" position the motion sensor will be on and the light will turn off after motion is no longer detected.
If you want to have an On/Off switch for these lights, you will need to hook them to an outlet with a light switch, or plug them into a power strip and use the strip power button as a light switch.
With the motion sensor on, the light will automatically turn on anytime motion is detected within 5 to 8 feet. There is an adjustable timer to determine how long the light will stay on after motion has stopped being detected. The timer will go from 50 seconds to 5 minutes. If you want all the lights to share the same settings, simply place the timer on each light in the same position.
NOTE: Even when you have each of these lights connected to each other, they will retain their individual settings. For example, you can have one light turn off after 50 seconds and the other after 5 minutes.

Finally, the LED 2ft Linkable 7500 Lumen Overhead Shop Light has been released! We saw the prototype about a year ago and were so excited after learning the features these would have. They work like normal overhead lights, putting out 7500 Lumens but at about a 90% reduction in energy. That's because these have the newest SMD-LED technology. No heat, no bulb burnout, just efficient illumination wherever you need it. They are perfect for garages, workshops, basements, and much more. We even found they work great as studio lighting.
You also can choose to set the light to turn on via the motion sensor. This will pick up motion from around 8 to 10 feet away. There is also an adjustable timer to keep the light on after movement is no longer detected. The timer can be set anywhere from 50 seconds to 5 minutes.
