Being a fan of the outdoors means I have seen a lot of survival kits. But I gotta say, most are packed with items I will never need or use. That's why I love this 9pc Swat Survival Kit with some things I can use, not only in a survival situation, but every day!
Honestly, the kit is worth it for this keychain multi-tool alone. The spring-loaded needle nose pliers have a cutting edge for stripping and snipping line and wire. You also get a saw, knife, Phillips screwdriver, and bottle opener. If that wasn't enough it's got a tiny fold-out flashlight.
But nothing is more important for survival than starting a fire. The included flint and scraper will turn any tinder into a roaring fire in seconds.
To keep your fire going, you also need some wood and the answer to this is right in your kit with the wire saw. While it's small and thin, the teeth make quick and easy work of branches. (Just watch our video to see it in action!)
