I really wasn't expecting much when I first saw the Super Ear Sound Interceptor. It looked pretty basic, but the cool retro look piqued my interest, so I decided to give it a try. I was in for a treat. Not only was the price better than expected but the quality is too.
After putting in a 9V battery (not included), I turned the sound interceptor on and gave it a listen. To my amazement, I could hear conversations from all over the office. Even far off whispers were coming through loud and clear. Then I decided to venture outside on the walking trail. This was so cool! I heard all the wildlife like birds, frogs, and even fish that would splash on top of the pond. It was quite relaxing and a lot of fun. If you love nature, take a walk with one of these. You won't regret it.
While I enjoyed my time outdoors, some people may find it more useful indoors. No worries with the Super Ear. It picks up sound and voice from over 100 feet away. Plus it's discreet, looking just like a pocket radio. People will just think you're listening to the local football game.
Go ahead and listen in anywhere you want! The Super Ear is compact enough to carry in your hand or pocket and has a handy clip to attach it to your belt, jeans, or backpack. Plus it's super easy to use, having only one control button; a simple on/volume dial.
If you're not crazy about the retro style headphones, you can also use your own pair. But I do need to point out this is a mono device. That means stereo headphones will only play through one speaker, while the included (mono) headphones will play through both. Â
