The Twin Bell Clock was meant to be an alarm clock. However when we tested the alarm function we found it to be less than satisfactory.
It does make a handsome, nostalgic looking clock that actually lights up with blue LED lighting. And heck maybe you can get the alarm to work so that would be a bonus.
The sleek matte black finish of this product will look excellent in any room of your house and it makes for a one-of-a-kind analog timekeeping experience.
The appealing blue LED backlit clock-face can be activated manually for 5 seconds by pressing the LIGHT button on the top of the clock to get a quick reading in the dark.
The aesthetically pleasing design of this vintage clock features light blue accents to compliment the calming LEDs, providing a soothing effect. It runs on 2 AA batteries (not included) so you'll be able to keep track of time, even in a power outage.
Note: due to the analog nature of this clock, the setting an alarm for a certain time may not go off at exactly the time you make it. We've noticed that it can sound off a few minutes each way. It runs on two AA batteries (not included), so even if the power goes out, it works to tell the time! Now we've noticed that the alarm function doesn't work quite as well - sometime it goes off a few minutes earlier or later than it appears to be set for. We don't know why, so it may not be the best item for an important wakeup. Please don't rely on this one for a punctual alarm; rather appreciate its vintage styling on any nightstand, desk, or bookcase.
